FAQs
Is JT Decks & Fences an LLC? And are you Insured?
What warranty do we offer?
Yes, we are registered with the state of north carolina as an LLC.
We are insured, we carry a general liability insurance and workers compensation so both parties are protected from any liability. We will gladly provide you with a copy of Certificate of Insurance and State ID Number upon your request.
We are proud to offer a 5 year workmanship warranty on decks and fences. We use high quality building materials that also offer an extended warranty that protects your investments. The warranty does not cover gates or damages resulting from accident, unreasonable use, neglect, alteration, improper service, wind damage, acts of God or any other causes not arising out of defects in materials or workmanship. Additionally, this warranty does not cover costs of installation, removal, or reinstallation created by excessive environmental conditions.
What payment methods do you accept and what is your payment schedule?
Do I need a permit to build my deck?
Generally if you are building a new deck, you will be required to have a county permit if the new deck is more than 12″ above grade. If the deck is less than 12″ above grad you are not required to have a county permit because it is considered a patio and not a deck. Always check with your local permit and inspection office as these codes change from time to time.
We accept Cash, Checks, Wire transfers (Bank Transfer/Zelle)
